What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a way of life. It is a form of health care that treats the entire body and not just the areas of which a symptom has developed. It is an approach in which the patient is expected to take partial responsibility in its effectiveness by being actively involved.
So what does chiropractic do?
Chiropractic is a non-invasive, holistic approach in which there is a main focus on the nervous system, which involves the brain, spinal cord, and the different nerves that run throughout the body. The brain and spinal cord are considered the powerhouse to the control of the entire body. It is protected by the vertebral bones of the spine (as seen in the picture ) as well as the bones of the head. When the bones of the spine are not in their proper position there is a change that takes place within the body that will eventually lead to such things as a cold, allergies, back pain, etc.
There is more and more research developing on the benefits of the use of chiropactic to mitigate the different types of diseases that have and can develop in a person's life. For more information please feel free to contact the clinic or attend one of our free health lectures.
